The Montezuma-Cortez High School Panthers continued its season with four duals in Rifle last Saturday.
M-CHS fought hard with its five active grapplers, but having to forfeit a number of matches, went 0-4 at the Rifle High School tournament.
The Panthers lost 69-9 to Hotchkiss, 28-24 to Grand Valley, 36-24 to Coal Ridge, and 42-21 to host Rifle.
Ryan Daves led the Panthers with a 4-0 record on the day at 126 pounds. The junior pinned all his opponents.
Levi Gross, Seager Oliver and Trenton Gustafson all posted 3-1 records at 113, 152 and 182 pounds
Justice Ramos grappled to a 1-3 mark Saturday.
M-CHS will wrestle at Ignacio on Saturday at 8 a.m.
