Dear Editor:
A short time back one of our liberal friends asked the question,Why would anyone vote Republican? I thought it was time to answer that question.
I would vote Republican because I believe in freedom. The liberal idea that we need more government in our lives with Big Brothers fingers in everything we do is not my idea of freedom.
I would vote Republican because I believe in personal responsibility. That person in the mirror is the person responsible for you, not your neighbor, not your teacher, not your parentsand definitely not your government.
I would vote Republican because I believe that what I work to earn is mine and not just a slush fund to be passed around to anyone who thinks they should have part of it.While no one is against helping anyone who cannot help themselves, the Democrats seem to have a hard time telling the difference between can not and will not.
I would vote Republican because I believe that our school systems and our public works departments should answer to the people they serve, not to the Democrats favorite socialist organization known as a union.
Now if this does not answer your question I would be happy to supply you with many more answers.
