The list is coming together.
Not only the one youngsters are compiling for Santa, but the Journal has a list of where to find special holiday lighting displays.
A number of readers have sent in locations of friends and neighbors who have dedicated time and effort in putting up Christmas lighting displays. If you enjoy partaking in the holiday tradition of making the rounds around town to check out displays, here are some of the locations, with comments about a few:
• Fourth and Maple. This is a very elaborate display with lots to see.
• 25561 Rd. N.6 Loop out in Mildred Estates. Be sure to check out the music because it's part of the display.
• 23413 County Road E.
• Cortez Highways 160/491, on the building just north of Redburn Tire. The lights play in sync to music so tune your car radio to FM 90.5.
• Check out all of the lights throughout Paradise Village, including the one on the corner of May Lane and Brookside.
• There are several nice displays on 29 Road, between L.4 and Rd. M.
• N. Sligo and Empire.
