Southwest Colorado Youth Baseball/Little League will hold its annual meeting on Thursday, Dec. 8, at 7 p.m. at the First National Bank conference room. Everyone is welcome to attend and recap the 2011 season. For more information, please call Lisa Greene at 564-0186.
Cortez Rec. Center youth basketball program
The city of Cortez Parks and Recreation department is now registering for third- and-fourth grade girls and boys youth basketball. Practices will begin Monday, Jan. 2, 2012 with first games beginning Saturday, Jan. 7. Season ends Sunday, Feb. 12. Cost to participate is $20, which includes a T-shirt. Registrations are being taken at the Cortez Recreation Center and will close Saturday, Dec. 24. Contact Joye McHenry at 564-4080 with any programming questions.
Cortez Rec. Center coed volleyball
The city of Cortez is accepting registrations for the 2012 coed volleyball season. Guaranteed eight-game season, plus a double-elimination tournament, and T-shirts to tournament winners. Entry fee is $175. Registration ends Monday, Jan. 9. Season begins Monday, Jan. 16. Call the Cortez Recreation Center at 564-4080 with any questions.
