Memorial Day is Monday.
For one hour leave your spring cleaning, spring planting, discount shopping, picnic fixings, baseball mitt, suntan lotion, bicycle races, vintage autos, dog walking, visiting relatives, golf clubs, car washing or lawnmower. They’ll still be there when you get back.
Those we honor on this day will not.
Whether you agree or disagree with a war, military action, or political decision, these are our men and women who fought wars for us.
Real men and women from the beginning of our nation to our current world situations have given their lives, limbs and sanity.
Honor them.
