Just cant believe people are having such a hard time understanding the Cain tax plan of 9-9-9. Whats so difficult? Could it be you havent researched it? Maybe its just because the plan came from a conservative. Whatever the reason, let me try to make it simple for you.
First all federal taxes such as income, payroll. capital gains, estate taxes, etc. go away. Then there will be a 9 percent business tax on profits, 9 percent personal income tax, and the 9 percent national sales tax. Everyone wants to raise the roof over that one because they dont understand. Right now, all goods have built-in taxes so the corporations dont have to pay the taxes themselves. Smart and sneaky but if youve ever been in business you understand. That will bring down the cost of goods so you will get them cheaper to start with. Sales tax under this plan will be collected only once when the product is bought new, not when its sold two, three or even times. The most important will be the underground money never collected on, as thats the nature of doing things illegally. All criminals love their bling and will be paying taxes on everything they buy plus all foreign tourists will be paying our taxes just like we do when we travel overseas. Im quite sure people below a certain level will be exempt on some items but if they buy TVs, cell phones, iPads and on and on, they too will pay taxes.
Now see. That wasnt difficult at all.
