WINTER, a 5-month-old male cat, is a medium-haired Snowshoe mix with bright blue eyes. He is very playful and sweet. He would do well as either a single cat or in a multiple-cat home. He is available for adoption at the Cortez Animal Shelter, located at 2791 E. Main St. The shelter is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and open every other Friday. The shelter will be closed this Friday, March 4. This week, the shelter needs nonscoopable cat litter, Pine Sol, adult dry dog food (Purina or Pedigree) and dog biscuits.
