Overjoyed parents Sandra Rosalesand Ubaldo Monge are pleased to announce the birth of their daughter Mikaylah Amarah Monge at 4:49 a.m. Oct. 6, 2011, at Southwest Memorial Hospital in Cortez. Mikaylah weighed 7 pounds, 3.9 ounces, and was 21 inches long at birth. She has two proud grandmothers, Marisela Ayala of Nebraska and Maria Elena Pompa in Mexico. Mikaylah’s siblings are Alexis, Juli and Darey, and she also has an older sister in Mexico named Quetzali. Other special family members and friends who will be a big part of Mikaylah’s life are her soon-to-be godparents, Lucia and Lazaro Bueno, her aunt Barbara Ramirez of California, uncle Roger Rosales of Grand Junction, and her bigger family at High Desert Early Head Start.
