Rachael Leslie Marchbanks and John David Simbeck are planning a November wedding in Moab, Utah. Marchbanks is the daughter of Leslie C. Lewis and Booth W. Marchbanks of Fargo, N.D., and Indonesia respectively. She is a graduate of Durango High School, and received her bachelor of arts degree from Ft. Lewis College, also in Durango. She is pursuing her master’s degree from CU in Denver. Rachael is the publisher of the Tribal College Journal based in Mancos, and is the current mayor pro-tem of the town. Simbeck is the son of Jon and JoAnne Simbeck of Moab. He graduated from Douglas County High School in Castle Rock, Colo., and received his AB from Harvard College in Cambridge, Mass. He is a vice-president of Simbeck and Associates Inc., a membrane liner installation company in Mancos. He also serves as grand knight of the Cortez council of the Knights of Columbus. The wedding is planned for St. Pius X Catholic Church in Moab. The couple will reside in Mancos.
