The United Methodist Women will host a luncheon and program about bullying and suicide at noon at the First United Methodist Church, 515 N. Park St., on Thursday, May 11.
Speakers include a member of a family that experienced a child’s suicide, a speaker from Piñon Project concerning statistics and help that is available, efforts to involve youth in helping themselves, a speaker from the Sheriff’s Department concerning what law enforcement is doing to help, concluding with a speaker on faith-based involvement.
