M-CHS golfers head to state

Panthers will send 4 golfers, Aiken, Rudosky, Plewe and Hawkins, to state tournament

M-CHS state golf team of Chris Aiken, Jakob Rudosky, Hayden Plewe and Keith Hawkins
Pelican Lakes Golf Club, Windsor
Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 3-4
Pelican Lakes has the most shoreline of any golf course in the U.S.
Rudosky is ranked No. 1 in scoring average in 4A Western Slope League play with an average of 73. Aiken is ranked No. 5 at 75. Rudosky won tournaments in Montrose at Black Canyon (67) and in Cortez at Conquistador (73). Aiken won at Pagosa Springs Golf Club shooting 74. Hawkins won at Deer Creek Village Golf Club in Cedaredge with an 80. M-CHS won tournaments in Cortez, Cedaredge and the Western Slope Regional tournament at Rifle Creek Golf Course. Aiken and Plewe tied for second at regionals with each shooting 76.
