The Dolores Bears won its second-straight game on the diamond by holding off the Farmington Scorpions 12-8 in Farmington, N.M., on Tuesday.
Dolores (5-3) got five strike outs from starting pitcher Tyler Underwood, as he only gave up two runs. Simon Condon, Tanner Cumpton and Austin McCracken all hit 2-for-3 at the plate.
The Bears conclude nonconference play in Blanding, Utah, at San Juan High School on Saturday at 11 a.m.
