Colorado Parks and Wildlife plans a free seminar on turkey hunting, 3-6 p.m., Friday, April 21, in Pagosa Springs at the Archuleta County Extension Center at the county fairgrounds, 344 U.S. Highway 84.
The event is designed to recruit, encourage, and instruct novice turkey hunters, according to a CPW news release.
Topics include turkey biology, hunting strategies, equipment needed for turkey hunting, calling and safety. The seminar is open to the public, and no experience or equipment is necessary.
