6:57 p.m.: A woman reported a possible theft in the 24000 block of County Road T. She said a company in Arizona placed unauthorized charges on her credit card.
Friday, April 7
11:22 a.m.: A man was arrested in the 18000 block of U.S. Highway 491 on suspicion of DUI, driving under revocation and an open container violation.
6:21 p.m.: Deputies assisted Cortez Police by responding to a possible fight in the 20 block of North Park Street. Witnesses claimed a man had hit and pushed several others. Police arrested the man on suspicion of disturbing the peace.
7:31 p.m.: A juvenile was arrested in the 1300 block of Mesa Verde Street on a warrant for contempt of court.
Sunday, April 9
11:05 p.m.: A woman was arrested outside G Whil Liquors, 24001 County Road G.2, on suspicion of disorderly conduct after she reportedly ran out onto the road while intoxicated. Deputies attempted to release her to her family, but she refused to leave the patrol vehicle and told deputies to take her to jail.
Monday, April 10
1:15 a.m.: A man was arrested at Southwest Memorial Hospital, 1311 N. Mildred Road, where he was being treated. Deputies arrested him after they assisted in responding to a medical call and discovered the patient had an active warrant issued by the Cortez Municipal Court.
10:04 a.m.: A man turned himself in and was arrested at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., on a warrant for failure to appear.
3 p.m.: A man was transported from La Plata County and arrested at the Montezuma County jail, 730 E. Driscoll St., on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge.
4:10 p.m.: A man was remanded from Montezuma County Court, 601 N. Mildred Road.
Tuesday, April 11
8:05 p.m.: Deputies pulled a man over near the intersection of County Road 21 and U.S. Highway 491 on suspicion of DUI. He said he did not have a driver’s license. Cortez Police then took over the traffic stop, but deputies transported a female passenger to the Bridge Emergency Shelter because of her high level of intoxication.
3:30 p.m.: A man was served with a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of driving without a license at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
Wednesday, April 12
1:33 a.m.: A woman was arrested at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., on an active warrant.
