Several area students were among the graduates earning their degrees at Fort Lewis Colleges Spring 2011 Commencement. The following students received their degrees at the event:
Six students from Cortez Douglas Hill, humanities, anthropology; Nicholas Manning, political science (magna cum laude); Jessica Reed, accounting (cum laude); Eric Stramel, music education (cum laude); Johanna Todacheeny, English, communication; and Elta Wilson, art.
Four students from Dolores Matthew Garchar, business administration, engineering management; Melissa Markhart, psychology; Alyse Neubert, theater, performance and directing option (cum laude); and Carmelita Perez, English.
One student from Towaoc, Bernadette Cuthair, business administration, management, received her degree at the ceremony.
