The Four Corners Community Band once again played in the July 4th parade and concert following at the Rico Fire Station. Playing in Rico is one of the favorite places we visit during our years concert schedule.
This year we want to thank Dale Komarek of Fort Worth, Texas, for the generous use of his trailer for the parade. We also want to thank Mike Lesem of Tucson, Ariz. and Rico, for cutting the slats and Mike and Dale for their teamwork roping the sides.
We thank Gary and Donna Showers of Rico and Kirkland, N.M., for chair assembly, pulling the trailer, and makingsure of the safety of the band. To the town of Rico, a special thank you for your contribution to our band. To all ourRico friends, we thank you for your support during the parade and concert and look forward to next year when we hope once again to make the July 4th parade down Glasgow Avenue.
