Rome wasnt built in two days. It wasnt built by people who werent actively engaged in the work, either. The youth of the Youth Leadership Council are working to make big changes in the community, and they know that they have to put a lot of work in to get a lot out of it.
YLC has presented to key community stakeholders, city council, and youth organizations throughout the state. We have done our research and understand that an ordinance that would require retailers of tobacco and nicotine products to acquire a license to sell would positively affect our community and its youth.
The Youth Leadership Council knows that it is important to always be proactive and to do what needs to be done. After all, the world is run by those who show up. See you there!
