Dear Editor:
The insulting letter by Merlane Johnson in your Saturday paper (March 26) is typical of the Conservative Right, tea baggers and 9/12ers. Their un-American, arrogant, racist and ignorant attitude to those that do not agree with their ideology are somehow fools is what one expects from these groups.
I would bet that most of these folks voted for George W. Bush, who tried his best to ruin this country and make his friends rich in the process not to mention the two wars he started on lies, then covering up the true cost of those wars. They are also the same people who think Sarah Palin is the new messiah. Didnt she quit her job as governor? Isnt she as dumb as a post? Well, she cant be too dumb; she makes millions from the geniuses from the right.
The 9/12ers profess to know the Constitution inside and out. People go to our best universities and study the Constitution for years and still cant agree with each other on what our founding fathers meant. I would like to know what the education and background of these folks who profess to be such experts on the Constitution that they can teach other about our Constitution especially, since they have such a narrow view of the world.
