9:46 p.m.: Two men reported a case of first-degree trespass in the 11000 block of County Road 24.4. A firearm was stolen from one vehicle, and another firearm, a pair of sunglasses, a pair of binoculars and some cash was stolen from another vehicle. A woman also reported that some money was missing from her vehicle. The binoculars and a holster for one of the firearms were found in a field nearby, but the case remains under investigation.
Monday, March 6
7:28 a.m.: A woman turned herself in at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., and was arrested on an active warrant.
10:25 a.m.: A man was served a warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., for second-degree assault with a deadly weapon.
8:42 p.m.: An employee at GST Liquors, 102 S. 11th St., Dolores, reported that a man had stolen a bottle of liquor valued at $21.35. Employees at the nearby Giant fuel station reported the same man may have stolen a bag of chips, but did not want to press charges. The case remains under investigation.
11:30 p.m.: A man was arrested in the 13000 block of County Road 28 on suspicion of violating a restraining order after his ex-girlfriend reported he had entered a shed on her property without permission.
Tuesday, March 7
8:22 a.m.: A woman turned herself in at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., and was arrested on two warrants for failure to comply and one for trespassing.
11:32 a.m.: A man was remanded from Montezuma County Court, 601 N. Mildred Road.
12 p.m.: A man was arrested in the 80 block of Central Avenue, Dolores, on a warrant for failure to comply. After the arrest, a bag of methamphetamine and a used syringe were found on him, so he was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and first-degree introduction of contraband as well.
2:25 p.m.: A man was served with two warrants for failure to register as a sex offender and failure to comply at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
2:30 p.m.: A deputy performed a civil standby in the 26000 block of County Road P while a woman retrieved horse tack and a saddle from the home of a man who had allegedly harassed her in the past.
4:01 p.m.: A man was arrested at Montezuma County Court, 601 N. Mildred Road, on an active warrant.
7:50 p.m.: A woman turned herself in to the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., and was arrested on two warrants for failure to appear.
