Dolores beats Mancos to advance to district tournament

Dakota Smith drives past Mancos’ Caden Showalter Tuesday night in Dolores as the No. 4 seeded Bears beat the No. 5 Mancos Blue Jays, 49-43, to advance in the District 3 tournament. On Friday, Dolores will play No. 1 Ignacio at 6 p.m. in the Montezuma-Cortez High School gym, followed by No. 2 Telluride vs. No. 3 Norwood.
