An early morning crash on U.S. Highway 160/491 near Towaoc on Wednesday involved multiple vehicles and led to a four-hour cleanup, according to Colorado State Patrol Trooper Josh Lewis.
The crash took place just before 3 a.m. Wednesday at mile marker 25 on the highway, about a mile south of the Ute Mountain Casino. A semitrailer was involved in the crash, along with another truck that was hauling a car, Lewis said on Thursday afternoon.
Two adults and a minor were examined for injuries after the crash, but there was no information available about their condition, Lewis said.
The highway was partially blocked, but traffic was able to get by, Lewis said. The highway was fully open just after 7 a.m., he said.
No other information was available as of 5 p.m. Thursday.
