Carute Roma promises to bring the party to the Sunflower Theatre in Cortez on Saturday with its original tunes and dance-oriented Gypsy-punk styles.
Carute Roma, or “Gypsy Wagon,” combines classic Roma songs with fiddle, accordion and trumpet backed by guitar, bass, and drums. Vocals come in six different languages.
Carute Roma plays special events throughout the Four Corners area, and loads up their Gypsy Wagon to travel to festivals, weddings and parties down the road.
Seating will be limited Saturday to allow for dancing.
Doors and cash bar open at 6:45 p.m., and the music starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 and available at the door and www.sunflowertheatre.org. The Sunflower Theatre is at Main and Market streets in Cortez.
