Trump is nominating Scott Pruitt for the top Environmental Protection Agency position — a man with outright contempt for the agency and its mandate to protect the land, air, and water from pollution.
As an unabashed collaborator with the oil and gas industry, he stands ready to dismantle regulations from the agency established to watchdog activities that have toxic side effects. Trump would be placing a rabid fox in the henhouse.
I will be calling Sen. Gardner (202-224-5941) and asking him not to support Pruitt’s nomination, and I hope many others will look at Pruitt’s record and contact Sen. Gardner as well.
