Dolores Pee-Wee Wrestling Sign-UpsThere will be sign-ups for Dolores pee-wee wrestling at the Dolores High School commons area on the following dates:
Jan. 27 from 3:40-6 p.m.Jan. 28 from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Jan. 30 from 3:40-6 p.m.New wrestlers must have a copy of their birth certificate. The sign-up fee is $55 and the middle school wrestler fee is $25. Practice will begin on Monday, Feb. 6.
7th Annual Winter Warrior 10KWith 100% of proceeds benefiting the Durango Youth Nordic Ski Team, the Winter Warrior 10k will be held at the Durango Nordic Center on Saturday, January 28th, 2017.
Race day registration opens at 9 a.m., Kids Snowdash at 10:00 a.m., followed by the 10k start and then the 5k.
There will be overall and age group medals plus a raffle of great prizes by local and regional supporters.

Putt-Putt TournamentOnward! A Legacy Foundation is hosting putt-putt golf tournament in downtown Cortez on Saturday, Feb. 4 beginning at 4 p.m.
There are hole locations at multiple downtown locations and prizes for winners and best costumes. Players are encourage to dress in their best western wear and bring their lucky putters.
The cost is $75 per person or $300 per team, but there’s a discounted rate until Jan. 27. Register at the Onward! office at 33 N. Chestnut or online at www.onwardfoundation.org.

Fly tying classesThe Trout Unlimited Dolores River Anglers chapter will host its annual fly tying classes in the hospital cafeteria from 7-9 p.m. on February 6, 13, 20 and 27 and March 6.
The cost is $10 and includes all five classes as well as equipment.
There are beginner, intermediate and advanced classes open to anyone that wants to learn.
There will only be 35 spaces available, so to reserve a spot please call 970-759-0175.
Durango Youth SoccerThe Durango Youth Soccer Association offers programs for players ranging from age 8 to 18 that feature practices two days a week, league games on Saturdays and 2-3 tournaments per season. The programs run from the fall through the spring, so they are currently around mid season, but are still accepting registrants.
DYSA will also host a soccer camp for second and third grade boys and girls every Wednesday from April 5-May 10 from 5-6 p.m. The camp will be held at Escalante Middle School and the $40 registration fee includes a DYSA T-Shirt.
