The Dolores Bears baseball team placed six on the San Juan Basin League All-Conference first team for the 2011 season, while Tyler Underwood was named the leagues Player of the Year and Jim Everin claimed Coach of the Year.
Dolores Pitcher Austin McCracken, catcher Simon Condon, infielders Underwood and Kolton Shull, and outfielders Ryan Greene and Cody Carroll made first team.
Other SJBL first team selections were Nucla pitcher Justin Goforth, infielders Keegan Arnold and Brice Steffan, and outfielder Brad Campbell. Ignacio infielder Tyler Young and utility player Mark Garcia garnered first-team selections, while Nuclas infielder Nick Rushing and outfielder Morgan Rummel made the second team.
