On our recent vacation in the Cortez/Dolores area, I had a medical emergency and my husband rushed me to the emergency room at Southwest Memorial Hospital.
I hope the community realizes what a jewel they have in this small hospital.
From the moment I arrived in the ER to my dismissal, I received the most courteous and professional care.
All of the staff showed concern for my well-being and comfort. Some who went the extra mile were Jodie (RN), Sandra (CNA), Eldon (RN), Jason (RN), Megan (RN) and Lance (RT).
The facility is clean and well-maintained and even the food was good.
