When I picked up my newspaper on Friday morning, I noticed white confetti blowing down the street and looked at my recycle boxes. They had been moved.
I opened the can/glass container and all three of the new white wastepaper containers were gone! However, the empty cans, etc were still in the bottom of the box.
When the recycle truck came, the operator asked my husband,”Why is there only one can in here?”
Now the cans were gone! Thief number two had stolen the cans while thief number one took the containers!
The white confetti blowing down the street was from the paper box since we shred personal data. Were they looking to be identity thieves also?
This happens in California, but in Cortez?
