1:35 p.m. A man was cited for letting two dogs roam freely in the area of 11900 County Road 39.2.

Wednesday, May 11

10:48 a.m.: A store owner in the 18900 block of U.S. 491 reported that a customer’s check had bounced, and a deputy received an assurance from the check writer’s relative that she would pay the $109.29.

3:12 p.m.: A man was arrested on two active warrants at a residence in the 3200 block of County Road 21.

8 p.m.: A deputy who went to a residence in the 23700 block of County Goad G failed to find the man he was looking for, and then arrested another man on an warrant.

Thursday, May 12

10:33 p.m.: A man was arrested at a residence in the 18400 block of County Road AA on suspicion of harassment and domestic violence.

Friday, May 13

6:55 a.m.: A restaurant in the 100 block of S. 11th St. in Dolores reported graffiti.

7:30 p.m.: A woman reported a possible burglary at her residence in the 26100 block of County Road R, and the following items were missing: a flat-screen TV valued at $290; a TV speaker valued at $150; a [air of silver hoop earrings valued at $75; and a bottle of pink champagne valued at $65.

11:39 p.m.: A female driver was pulled over near the 7000 block of U.S. 160 and was issued a warning for improper display of a temporary permit, no proof of insurance and driving without a license. Her passenger was arrested on two active warrants.

Saturday, May 14

7:19 p.m.: A female driver was pulled over in the 4000 block of U.S. 160 because of dirty license plates, and cited for displaying a fictitious license plate, driving while her license was under restraint and operating an uninsured vehicle.

Sunday, May 15

1:08 a.m.: A male driver was arrested in the 30,000 block of Colorado 184 on suspicion of weaving, and driving while his ability was impaired by alcohol or drugs.

8 p.m.: A woman looking for a lost dog reported that she found a bone near County Road E and U.S. 160, and Montezuma County Coroner George Deavers identified the bone as a human jawbone. No other human bones were found in the area, and the case was considered complete.

Tuesday, May 17

2:23 a.m.: A male driver was pulled over in the 11000 block of U.S. 491 and cited for driving 90 mph in a 65 mph zone.
