Electricity service was knocked out for 640 homes in Dolores after a delivery truck struck a pole, breaking a major circuit east of Joe Rowell Park.
The power loss happened about 2:30 p.m. Thursday and lasted for 40 minutes before being restored by Empire Electric crews. The pole is being replaced and the line fully repaired.
