Devon G. Wayt, a Montezuma-Cortez High School graduate of 1999, is shown after receiving his MBA degree from Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif., in April. Wayt is currently director of compliance control and human resources for National Therapeutic Services in Southern California. His parents, Brad and Terry Wayt, and grandmother, Dotty Wayt, all of Cortez, attended the ceremonies. Also attending were Wayts wife, Claribel, and 5-month-old son, Ethan, of Moreno Valley, Calif., along with members of his wifes family.
