People’s Choice, an art exhibit sponsored by the Farmington Downtown Association and the nonprofit Three Rivers Art Center, is seeking entries through Feb. 13.
The event will merge artists of the Four Corners, downtown Farmington businesses and the public. Artists will be accepted on a first-entered basis until venues are full. The event culminates at the April 8 Downtown Art Walk. The public will vote for their favorite piece.
Public Vote Winners will receive cash awards of up to $750, $500 and $250. Juried awards of $750, $500 and $250 have been added to this year’s event. Cortez mixed media artist Susan Reed will view all the artwork on site and make a selection for the juried awards. The cost to enter is $25. A prospectus can be picked up at Three Rivers Art Center, 109 N. Allen, Farmington, or request from [email protected].
