The Cortez Public Library is grateful to the following who helped with our fall library card drive. Thanks to these generous people and organizations we were able to double our card sign-ups for one month’s time. Thanks to patrons Jody Blackmer, Karen Sheek, Keenan Ertel and Lavender Blacow for graciously participating in our ad campaign and to Colleen Donley of The Journal. Thanks to Brett and Johnna Bronson of McDonald’s who donated gift certificates for every new library card holder and thanks to all the students and teachers. Congratulations to the winners of our drawings. Lastly, thanks to Antonio Mendez, the Colorado Lieutenant Governor’s deputy chief of staff, and Lieutenant Governor Joe Garcia. Lt. Gov.
