Pony Expresso plans Halloween party
The Pony Expresso coffee shop in Dolores will have a Halloween Party on Oct. 31 from 5 to 8 p.m. Snacks and hot chocolate will be served, and there will be candy for the kids. The coffee bar will also be open.
Yellow Jacket P.O. celebrates 100 years
The Yellow Jacket post office will celebrate its 100th year in operation with a community potluck Saturday, Oct. 24 at 2 p.m.
Former post master Lolita Aulston will give a talk on the history of the post office, located at 22009 Road 18. A special post mark commemorating the 100th anniversary will be unveiled.
Everyone is invited, and if you want bring a dish to share.
