Retention, graduation continue to be challenges
To help with retention challenges, Fort Lewis College will start a pilot program – a freshman seminar – in 2016.

About 800 freshmen began their college careers at Fort Lewis College in August. If the most recent statistic holds true, 64 percent of them will return for their sophomore year and about 40 percent will graduate by 2021.
