After meets in Durango and Cortez this week, Montezuma-Cortez golfers are heading to postseason play.
On Monday the team played Dalton Ranch in Durango, and Cristoffer Rudosky led the Panthers with an 80. Luke Gross and Jens Jorgensen followed with scores of 138 and 149.
The trio was back in action the next day at Conquistador Golf Course in Cortez for the final meet of the regular season.
There were 12 other schools competing, and Rudosky’s 77 was good enough to tie him for third place.
Gross and Jorgensen finished four strokes apart, with Gross shooting a 124 and Jorgensen 128.
The Panthers will head to Steamboat Springs next week for regional play at Haymaker Golf Course on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
