It sure was a gift to have all that moisture these past weeks! Everything is so green and lush. However, with all the wonderful rain come high grass and weeds.
So, it's time to remind Mancos residents about their responsibility to keep the grass and weeds under control on their property and adjacent rights of way. So, fire up the lawn mowers and get out the string trimmers and have at it.
After the beautiful green grass come dried out grass and weeds. Tall dry grass and weeds are a fire hazard and sometimes a navigation hazard. So do your part to minimize any fire hazard by keeping things around your property trimmed up.
Thank you all for your cooperation with this important task.
