8:54 p.m.: A man was arrested in the 300 block of West Fifth Street on suspicion of disturbing the peace. When approached by police, he was outside his residence yelling and hitting the sidewalk with a shovel, after he allegedly got into a verbal argument with a juvenile inside the house.
9:15 p.m.: A man was arrested in the 400 block of West Seventh Street on suspicion of violating bond conditions.

1:09 a.m.: A man was arrested in the 20 block of West Third Street on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Monday, Jan. 23
9:26 a.m.: A man was arrested at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., on a warrant for failing to appear in court for the illegal sale of marijuana.
1:42 p.m.: A woman was arrested at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., after turning herself in on a warrant for failing to appear in court for a local misdemeanor.

3:11 p.m.: A man was arrested near the intersection of West Third Street and South Maple Street on suspicion of walking in a roadway while intoxicated. A woman who works for Cortez Cab said he and another man had tried to break into her vehicle.
10:36 p.m.: A man was arrested at Wal-Mart, 1835 E. Main St., on a warrant for failing to appear in court for a local misdemeanor.

12:26 a.m.: A man was arrested at Southwest Memorial Hospital, 1311 N. Mildred Road, on a warrant for failing to appear in court for a local misdemeanor.

8:19 a.m.: A man was arrested at Southwest Memorial Hospital’s emergency room, 1311 N. Mildred Road, on a failure to appear warrant for an out-of-county felony.
2:24 p.m.: A man was arrested at Montezuma County Court, 601 N. Mildred Road, on a failure to appear warrant for a local misdemeanor.
3:19 p.m.: A man was cited for an open container violation in Centennial Park, 800 E. Montezuma Ave.
3:46 p.m.: A man was arrested at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., on a failure to appear warrant for an out-of-county felony. He claimed he was in jail for another offense when the warrant was issued.
Thursday, Jan. 26
9 a.m.: A woman reported a vehicle break-in in the 600 block of North Market Street. A wallet with $700 in cash, six credit cards, one debit card, a driver’s license and multiple miscellaneous cards was stolen. The vehicle had been left unlocked.
2:26 p.m.: A man was arrested in the 500 block of South Madison Street on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and criminal mischief after his girlfriend claimed he had tried to hit her and pushed her out the door of their house. Heroin was found in his possession, and a door had been damaged in the home. During his arrest, the man slipped on ice and fell, hitting his head against a patrol car and twisting his ankle. He was treated at Southwest Memorial Hospital before going to jail.
