The Mancos Valley Distillery, 116 N. Main St., will present Kyle Tischler on Friday, April 10. Doors open at 5 p.m., and music starts at 8 p.m. The cover charge is $3.
While Tischler is new to our corner of the world, he is quite popular in northern Georgia, where he was born and raised. At the age of 6 he began learning guitar, and shortly thereafter began playing in local churches. At the age of 13, he was entering local talent shows and winning. He then joined a country gospel band. After a couple years, he decided to head out on his own musically and started playing at local venues.
Playing at several venues over the years with different groups and artists, Tischler has made a name in the northeast part of Georgia as the The Jukebox Singer for his wide variety of music abilities and genres. Tischler left Georgia for the sunny beaches of Florida, where he continued to learn his craft. He then traded the beaches for the mountains of Colorado. Since settling here, he has continued to tour around the Four Corners entertaining and make new friends.
