The Cortez City Council has a busy agenda for Tuesdays meeting.
At the council workshop beginning 5:45 p.m., the Youth Leadership Council is scheduled to give a presentation regarding tobacco issues and regulations.
At 6:15 p.m., the council is scheduled to discuss a proposed storage building at the BMX track.
Also on the agenda for the workshop, the council will discuss a memorandum of understanding with the Navajo Nation, an agreement with service providers utilizing the Cortez Community Network fiber-optic system, and a refinancing of the Cortez Recreation Center. The council will not vote on the preceding items Tuesday.
At the regular meeting scheduled for 7:30 p.m., the council will vote on a change in premises for Teebox Liquors allowing for the addition of a coffee bar.
The council is also scheduled to vote on an amended plat for the Cortez Plaza, the approval of judges for the 2011 recall election, the final service provider agreement for the CCN fiber-optic network and the approval of the funding of a feasibility study for the refinance of the Cortez Recreation Center.
Tuesdays meeting will take place at Cortez City Hall, 210 East Main Street.
