The Mancos Town Board of Trustees will meet Wednesday, but instead of in the board room, they will meet at Boyle Park to start things off.
Board members plan to meet Wednesday at 6 p.m. to tour Boyle Park.
And from there, they will take a stroll through the park.
"There is a board member who is interested to see if there are ways to improve access to the park," Mancos Town Administrator Andrea Phillips said.
Board members are expected to tour the park and look at the access points.
At one point you could drive through the parking lot behind Town Hall," Phillips said.
That area was closed for safety.
"The idea at the time, is that it would be safer," Phillips said.
In addition, board members are expected to inspect other access points to the park and look at the new landscaping.
At 7 p.m., board members are expected to reconvene in the Town Hall board room for regular business.
Board members are expected to hear an introduction of the 2015 budget, which must be presented in October and approved by Dec. 16.
"This is just the first budget draft, and it can and probably will change," Phillips said.
Board members are also expected to hear a report on organic methods of fertilizer and weed control.
"Parks and Recreation coordinator Leslie Hopkins has been experimenting with all sorts of methods," Phillips said.
Her report will be discussed by board members.
Board members are also expected select a contractor for the Water System Project Wednesday and discuss the sidewalk/concrete project.
