Cleaned up property planned for a Love’s Travel Stop
The old M&M Truck Stop south of Cortez was demolished and hauled away in late March and early April. It had been abandoned for 20 years, and was a target for graffiti and vandalism. A Love’s Travel Stop is planned for the location, which is next to the Colorado Port of Entry.
The long-abandoned M&M Truck Stop was torn down in late March to make room for a Love’s Travel Stop, which will include a convenience store, fueling stations, and an eatery.
Envirotech Inc., of Farmington, was contracted to demolish the abandoned M&M Truck Stop, south of Cortez. A new gas station, Love’s Travel Stop is planned for the location.
