The new gym in Mancos was up and running Monday as people sculpted, toned and burned calories, and to celebrate, the Grand Gym will host an open house.
Starting Friday, The Grand Gym, 121 Grand Ave., will host an open house from 4:30 to 7 p.m. with food, drinks and door prizes.
On Saturday the gym will offer free classes. At 8:30 and noon there will be free circuit classes and at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. there will be free yoga classes.
Rachel Hahn said she was excited for the weekend.
"This is a functional fitness gym," she said. "Every day is different. That's the idea of functional fitness."
Hahn encouraged people to come out and check out the gym and to try a classes, which will be tailored to beginners.
