The Dolores Bears baseball team improved to 2-0 with a 19-18 road win at Grand County (Moab, Utah) High School on Tuesday afternoon. Senior pitcher Austin McCracken struck out six and hit 3-for-3 with two RBIs.
The Dove Creek baseball team dropped its season opener 17-4 in five innings on the road to the Aztec (N.M.) Tigers junior varsity team. Junior catcher Dalton Davis and senior pitcher Austin Norris hit a single apiece.
