Cheers to the half-marathon
The Mancos Cowboy Half Marathon was a very successful event. Ben Hahn, race director, was pleased with the number of runners who participated in this inaugural event. He said that he plans on doing it again next year. Many of the runners said that they plan to return. Everyone had a great time. I noticed that people were downtown shopping and checking out the offerings at the Absolute Bakery, Fahrenheit Coffee Roasters and the Millwood. Will Stone had a wagon out and was busy giving visitors rides around town. He expressed his appreciation to Lynne and Perry Lewis from Rimrock Outfitters for the loan of the wagon.
