2:44 p.m.: A woman given a summons in Centennial Park for violating a pretrial order against drinking alcohol, and a man was arrested on suspicion of disturbing the peace after he allegedly urinated in public.
7:30 p.m.: A woman reported that her wallet had been stolen from her truck in the 500 block of Juniper Place and that someone had tried to use her debit card twice at The Ute Mountain Travel Center in Towaoc.
9:17 p.m.: A man was arrested in the 1500 block of Balsam St. on suspicion of DUI, DUI per se, careless driving possessing an open container of alcohol and failing to provide proof of insurance.
9:06 p.m.: A woman in custody at the Montezuma County jail was served two arrest warrants.
Thursday, June 2
7:49 a.m.: A woman with an active warrant turned herself in at the Montezuma County jail.
9:19 a.m.: Two female passengers were arrested on active warrants during a traffic stop at a store in the 800 block of S. Broadway.
10:23 a.m.: A man was arrested on an active warrant at the Cortez police station, 608 N. Park St.
2 p.m.: A woman was arrested on an active Jackson County warrant at a store in the 10000 block of U.S. 491.
4:32 p.m.: A man was arrested on an active warrant in a parking lot in the 700 block of E. Main St.
Friday, June 3
1:42 a.m.: A driver was arrested on an active warrant after he allegedly failed to obey a stop sign in the 2300 block of E. Main St.
8:43 a.m.: A female pedestrian was arrested on three active warrants in the 100 block of E. Madison St.
12:58 p.m.: A man was arrested for trespassing at a residence in the 1300 block of E. Animas St. and for violating a protection order from San Juan County, N.M.
9:58 p.m.: An intoxicated man was arrested on an active warrant outside a liquor store in the 700 block of W. Main St. A second man was arrested for possessing an open container of alcohol. A third man was arrested for disturbing the peace after shouting at passers-by.
Saturday, june 4
9:37 a.m.: A woman was arrested in Centennial Park on an active warrant and on suspicion of felony theft (a cellphone and bracelet) and menacing (brandishing a knife).
1:23 p.m.: A man was arrested in Centennial Park for disturbing the peace after he approached a woman and her family and displayed gang signs.
7:03 p.m.: An intoxicated man was arrested on suspicion of prohibited use of weapons (a handgun and knife) in a parking lot in the 400 block of Colorado 145.
11:36 p.m.: A male driver was arrested in the 10 block of E. Main St. on suspicion of driving the wrong way on a one-way street, DUI, driving without a valid license and failing to provide proof of insurance.
Monday, June 6
7:11 p.m.: Police received a tip that a wanted felon was at a residence in the 600 block of E. Third St. Officers ordered the suspect to come out, then sent in a police dog. The dog found the suspect hiding under a bench, and at gunpoint and facing the threat of a dog bite, the suspect surrendered. He was arrested on four active warrants.
Tuesday, June 7
9:07 a.m.: A woman reported that her purse and its contents, valued at $65, had been stolen from her car in the 400 block of S. Linden St.
9:43 p.m.: A man was cited for trespassing and breaking a window screen at his mother’s apartment, in the 600 block of E. Empire St.
