Downtown raptor center may relocate to D&SNG Museum

Nonprofit also may return to fairgrounds with shows if COVID-19 allows
Mike Fauteaux, executive director of Raptors Wild, will close his small education center in downtown Durango at the end of September. Next year, he is looking to relocate to the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum or possibly resume his raptor shows at the La Plata County Fairgrounds. He said the final decision will be based on what is allowed given the COVID-19 pandemic.
