Proposition 115, an addition to the state’s statutes, has been put added to the ballot by signature gatherers. It would penalize doctors with a misdemeanor charge and a fine, and a temporary loss of medical license, for performing an abortion after 22 weeks.
We have long said that reproductive decisions should be between a woman, her doctor and family members. The government has no judgment or skills in the reproductive arena, and should stay out.
