San Juan Mountains Association hosts Forest Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon through Aug. 28.
Drop-off and pickup will be at the trailhead visited that week. The program is for children in grades 1 through 6.
Explore local public lands through hands-on learning. Experience new way to enjoy the outdoors through learning about tracking animals, mapping, building shelters and local resources.
The program is free for Montezuma County youths through a scholarship from Montezuma Inspire Coalition.
