Free showing of 'Inequality for All'
Inequality for All, a documentary that premiered at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival and won a U.S. Documentary Special Jury Award, will show for free at the Dolores Public Library at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27.
The film examines widening income inequality in the U.S., and is presented by American economist, author and professor Robert Reich. It examines our historically high income inequality and its impact on our society, economy and democracy.
A discussion will follow each showing.
Chamber's Spring Banquet is March 1
The Chamber's festive Spring Banquet, with a Mardi Gras theme, will be March 1 in the Community Center.
The Naked Moose has been awarded the catering for the banquet and has a marvelous meal planned.
This is to raise money for Scholarships for the 2014 graduating seniors of Dolores High School. Tickets are available at the Visitor's Center.

Business After Hours will be held Thursday
Enjoy a wonderful night of food, refreshments and mingling with other business professionals at The Dolores Chamber's Business After Hours event on Thursday, Feb. 27, at the Rio Grande Southern from 5-7 p.m.
It will be a showcase for Rita starting the next day back in the kitchen for the Rio for their all-you-can-eat Friday Fish Fry.

Girls on the Run looking for coaches
Girls on the Run is looking for interested coaches, parents, and participants for the Fall 2014 season in Montezuma and Dolores Counties.
Girls on the Run is a 10-week curriculum based after school program for 3rd - 5th grade girls that incorporates walking and running with healthy life habits. You don't need to be a runner to get involved.

K-9 Search and Rescue seeks new members
The Team was able to provide consultation assistance and had a team ready to respond if needed. The search has been suspended pending additional information.
The Team is always looking for new members - a dog is not necessary.

Mountain View Baptist plans revival
Mountain View Baptist Church will hold Revival Services Sunday, March 9 through Wednesday, March 12. The guest evangelist will be Dr. Charles Patrick Jr.
Patrick is director of operations in the Office of Institutional Advancement, and adjunct professor in the School of Theology at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.
Patrick will preach Sunday, March 9 at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday and Wednesday at 7 p.m. He will also speak to the Dolores High School students at the Ponderosa Restaurant on Wednesday during the lunch hour.
