Candidates for the U.S. 3rd Congressional District will participate in a forum from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Lauren Boebert, James Iacino and Diane Mitsch Bush have agreed to participate. The forum will be livestreamed on the League of Women Voters of La Plata County Facebook page.
To participate in the live streamed event, visit www.facebook.com/lwvlaplata.org and register. There is no fee.
League of Women Voters from La Plata, Montezuma, Montrose, Mesa and other areas are sponsoring the event, which is spearheaded by the La Plata County League Voter service person Karen McManus.
U.S. Rep. Tipton has been invited to participate, but so far has declined.
Voters are encouraged to participate.
